PAST GIRL MEETS VOICE EVENTS

On Saturday, July 30, 2016, I participated in a three-day summer institute tailored to writers of all genres, backgrounds, and levels of experience, located on Northwestern University’s downtown campus. This was open to anyone seeking a fuller understanding of the craft — and business — of writing.
As a Senior Facilitator with The OpEd Project, a social venture founded to increase the range of voices and quality of ideas we hear in the world, I’ve led programs at venues including Greenberg Traurig LLP, Council on Foundations, Princeton University, Fordham University, DePaul University, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of Cincinnati, Jewish Theological Seminary, Jewish Women’s Foundation, Advancing Women Professionals and the Jewish Community, Global Girl Media, and for leading thinkers at top universities, foundations, think tanks, nonprofits, corporations and community organizations in Chicago, San Francisco, and LA.
Ari Moffic and I met at Lakeside Congregation on Sunday, November 22, 2015 to talk about the weight of nature and nuture on gender expression, the need to fit in a box, and how ambiguity and fluidity inform us.
On September 29, October 27 and November 24, 2015, I met at Creative Coworking for my monthly Lunch & Learn, intended for women who crave learning, deepening, and accountability around our public voice and/or thought leadership goals.
